33 parts. Every one of them fully written.

Three shows and fourteen commercials on the television inside the game. You get the whole script, not a paragraph of vibes. The smallest part is a single line, the biggest is eighty-four. Eight are written open — not gendered, just whoever sounds right — so those sit in both packets.

  1. Read a packet and pick something

Two packets, split by voice. Both carry the eight open parts, so read whichever you like — or both. Every part lists the character, the voice I'm hearing, the trap to avoid, an audition line, and the full script behind it.

  2. Record it at home, dry

Read the audition line from any part you want. Two or three takes in one file is perfect — different reads, not the same read three times.

WAV or MP3, mono. Any decent USB mic in a closet is fine. Nothing on it: no noise reduction, no compression, no reverb, no music. I add the phone filter, the wind and the helicopter. Leave two seconds of silence at the top so I have your room tone. Name it YOURNAME_CHARACTER.wav.

  3. Audition for as many as you want

There's no limit and no penalty for trying. The pool splits by lines that ship, so holding two small parts can be worth more than one big one, and nobody is competing for a fixed number of slots.

No deadline either. I'd rather have the right voice than a fast one. And if you'd rather not audition and just want a part, say which one and why — that works too.

The deal, honestly

10% of net, split by lines.

A $2.99 game made by one person with no marketing budget. I'm not going to dress it up — here's the whole arrangement in plain words.

The cast pool
10% of everything the game actually pays me — after Steam's cut, regional pricing, tax and refunds — goes to the cast, for as long as it sells.
How it splits
By lines that ship. Every recorded line in the game is one point; your share is your points over everyone's. Bigger parts earn more because they say more.
What it's worth
About $1.75 reaches me per copy, so the cast pool is roughly eighteen cents a copy split across everyone in it. Take the part because the scripts are fun; treat the share as a lottery ticket.
Paperwork
A one-page letter signed by both of us: what I can use the recordings for, what the share is, your clips are yours for your reel, credited as agreed.
